Sait Matty is a social activist and an advocate for social and economic equality. He is a fervent believer in human rights and gender equality, especially the advancement of women’s rights. He holds a BSc in Political Science from the University of The Gambia, where he has served in many student leadership positions. He has also served in many youth organisations. Sait is a member of Lend a Hand Society and Think Young Women.

His interest cuts across a wide range of issues such as: youth political participation, unemployment, democracy and good governance, human rights, peace building, climate change etc.

This blog is a reflection of issues Sait is passionate about and wants to see changes in, for the benefit of young people around the world. In a nutshell the blog was created to bring these issues to the limelight, provoke healthy discussions and take action to bring about the desired change.
